Background
The s160 was installed in the water circuit of a vertical plate heat exchanger that cool down a turbine. Hydropath technology reference starts on page 202.
Results
The conclusions state the while the tested technology did not completely eradicate biofouling, it greatly helped with reduction, saving the plant costs of scheduled maintenance for cleaning while increasing the performance of the heat exchangers.
