Homeowner Reports Excellent Results
The Problem
A customer of ours in New Mexico receives potable water from a well that’s shared with a neighbor. A well test was conducted prior to the purchase of the property that indicated that the quality of the water was generally good, but that it had mineral content above the minimum detection levels and total hardness was an issue causing scale in their plumbing system.
The Solution…
They came to the HydroFLOW distributor in the Southwest for advice shortly after they moved-in, as they were concerned with heavy scale deposits evident on the faucets, aerators and shower heads. We recommended that they purchase a HydroFLOW s38 unit to treat their home’s plumbing system.
After some deliberation, the homeowner ended up purchasing the recommended unit and had it installed by their plumber. After watching the installation process, however, the customer concluded that she could easily have done it herself. The s38 simply clamps around the existing piping, no plumbing adjustments required.

The Results…
After a few months had passed, she reported that all of her faucets were running clear, there were no water spots on their glassware or dishes, the glass shower door was free of spots and streaks and the aerators on the faucets and the shower heads had absolutely no clogging deposits.
After seeing the results, she decided to treat all the well water at the wellhead with HydroFLOW to kill bacteria and prevent scale buildup in the pump.
Quote from the customer:
“I’m still amazed by the performance of the HydroFLOW s38 water treatment unit you recommended for our home. I was hopeful, but reluctant to believe that a device so small and simple in appearance could produce the results you claimed it could. Thank you again for your excellent advice!”
